Her journey into radio was sparked by her admiration for Woodward Community Media’s culture and the passion of its people, which convinced her that she was in the right place. Beyond her professional life, Amber is a mom of two young children, so her hobbies right now include engaging in activities like peek-a-boo and Paw Patrol. After a brief hiatus to focus on her family, she rejoined the team in December 2023, bringing her passion for dynamic and creative sales strategies to the talk sales team. Katie’s favorite aspect of her job is the opportunity to be inventive and make meaningful connections, helping businesses reach potential customers in unique and engaging ways.
Outside of work, she’s an active member of her community in New London, WI, enjoying outdoor activities like kayaking and snow-shoeing, attending live music events, and volunteering for her district’s school board and high school football booster club. Katie’s deep-rooted connection to radio, stemming from her childhood in Newberry, MI, where radio was her primary link to the outside world, makes her role in the industry feel especially full-circle.

Outside of work, John enjoys golfing (despite claiming not to be very good at it), maintaining a regular workout routine at the Y, and listening to the classic hits of the 70s and 80s – the good stuff, as he calls it.

Since the summer of 2003, Daniel has been a key player at Woodward, starting with his role at “The Breeze,” a new station at the time. His passion for radio has deep roots, from his childhood days with a transistor radio attached to his bicycle, to eagerly recording songs off the airwaves.
