APPLETON, Wis. — The Fox Cities Exhibition Center will continue to operate for another month on an extension of a previous contract with the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel.
Earlier this spring, Mayor Jake Woodford announced the city had reached a deal with the hotel’s owner, Driftwood Hospitality, to continue operating the expo center.
Community Development Director Kara Homan says Driftwood hasn’t signed the contract yet…………….
The Appleton Common Council has approved another 30-day extension of the previous contract, but alder Katie Van Zeeland has some concerns………….
The previous extension of the Expo Center contract expired on May 30.
