SISTER BAY, Wis. — A member of the Sister Bay Village Board resigns after setting an employee’s sweatshirt on fire.
Chad Kodanko owns Husby’s Food and Spirts in Sister Bay as well as sitting on the board.
On Dec. 12, he reportedly took an employee’s sweatshirt — which had a logo featuring Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA on it — and set it on fire at the bar.
Kodanko initially claimed he would be stepping away from operations at Husby’s due to threats following the incident.
He tendered his resignation from the Village Board on Monday.
The Door County Sheriff’s Office says it is not investigating the incident, asking for more information from the employee.
