2025 NASCAR Cup Series Standings
William Byron still leads, though his lead did get a tad smaller last week. Byron has 389 points and one win, which came all the way back in February during the Daytona 500. Kyle Larson picked up his sixth top-five finish by finishing second and he also won Stage 1, but still trails by 41 with 358 points. Denny Hamlin has two wins and five total top-five finishes with 337 points.
Rounding out the top five, Chase Elliott doesn’t have a win yet, but has finished in the top 20 in every race so he hasn’t had any disastrous results. Christopher Bell leads all drivers with three wins, but is still fifth in points. Filling out the top 10 are Tyler Reddick, Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney, Alex Bowman, and Ross Chastain.
Wurth 400 Winners
This is a more traditional 1.5-mile track, so that could and should factor into your handicapping. The last five winners at Texas Motor Speedway have been Elliott, Byron, Reddick, Larson, and Kyle Busch. So, it definitely does look as though the top dogs have a great chance at being the top dogs in this week’s race.
