An unexpected thing happened while Neenah school district workers were delivering meals to families.
They dropped them off at homes, by bus.
Food Service Director Jill Cascarano says for 57 days they delivered meals, to 97 different places. She says staff got to see the same people every day, and really got to know them.
She says they had to stop delivering meals for safety reasons, because it was difficult to follow social distancing guidelines.
Meals will still be available throughout the summer, by pickup, at five locations.
