There won’t be catfish races or a concert in Greenville next month.
Greenville Lions Chair Clint Dorn says he’s confident they’ll be able to rebook the same lineup for next year.
Styx, .38 Special, and Great White were scheduled to play.
Dorn says they’re still going to provide funding to the 26 charities they support, through the event.
The Lions were planning to build athletic courts, and another pavilion, in an undeveloped area of Lions Park, but those projects will have to wait because of the cancellation.
Dorn is asking people to hold onto their tickets for next year’s show on July 10th, 2021. If they want a refund, they can contact the place where they bought them.
