Patriots with back-to-back shutout wins late last week. Thursday (4/4) Appleton East blanked Oshkosh North 4-0 to pick up their first Fox Valley Association win of the year. They followed that up with an 8-0 win on the road Friday (4/5) against Fox Valley Lutheran. Patriots pitcher Carson Cook tossed a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts in the win. Busy week for Appleton East as they have a stretch with three games in four days against FVA opponents.
The winning school receives a plaque from J & B Trophy, located at 104 East Wisconsin in Appleton. Congratulations to this week’s winner!
