GRAND CHUTE, Wis. — A long-term ramp closure in Grand Chute begins Monday.
Crews will be working on the ramp from southbound Interstate 41 to Wisconsin Avenue as part of the I-41 expansion project between Grand Chute and De Pere.
The work includes adding auxiliary lanes between Wisconsin and Northland Avenue, constructing dual turn lanes on the ramp and adding accommodations for bicyclists and pedestrians.
For a detour, the DOT recommends exiting I-41 at College Avenue, heading east on College to Lynndale Drive and going north on Lynndale to access Wisconsin.
The ramp is expected to reopen sometime this summer.
