OSHKOSH, WI — Two people are in custody in connection with a weekend homicide in Oshkosh. The Oshkosh Police Department says officers were dispatched to a weapons call in the 500-block of High Avenue around 2:30 Saturday morning. That’s where they learned of a disturbance outside of business that resulted in the stabbing of a 20-year-old man, who was taken to a local hospital and later died. Police say an altercation between several individuals who knew each other preceded the stabbing. An unidentified 22-year-old man was taken into custody an hour later. Early Sunday morning officers, acting on a tip, located a second man and took him into custody. He’s identified as 23-year-old Sybastian CL Crossman. The name of the victim has not been released.
