Neenah will have fireworks on the 4th of July.
Mayor Dean Kaufert says they’re moving the show to Arrowhead Park, and shooting all of the fireworks high into the air. He says they worked with their fireworks company, and they believe 85 percent of the city will be able to see them from home.
Kaufert wants people to watch from their yard, so they can still maintain social distancing guidelines.
The city will close Arrowhead Park, and block pedestrians from using the Main Street overpass, to prevent large groups from gathering.
Kaufert says if people go to a parking lot or other place to watch the fireworks, they should follow social distancing standards.
Neenah and Menasha are also canceling their annual CommunityFest, on July 3rd and 4th, because of coronavirus.
