Steven Avery caught coronavirus at the state’s prison in Waupun.
His attorney, Kathleen Zellner, confirmed on Twitter that Avery tested positive. She says he’ll fully recover.
One of Avery’s former defense attorneys, Jerome Buting, also tweeted about it.
Almost 225 inmates at the Waupun prison have tested positive. Nineteen staff members have too.
