A Neenah woman lost her job nearly two months ago, and she’s still waiting for her first unemployment payment.
Leslie Yurk says she’s filed seven claims, and they’re all listed as pending. She says she hasn’t been able to talk to anyone to find out why.
She understands workers at the Department of Workforce Development are busy. But she says they have to figure out a way to help people, if they need their benefits.
Yurk says she’ll be back at work next week, and she’ll continue to fight for back pay.
